The Client: Esquimalt Military Family Resource Centre
This is a one-stop supplier of resources, programs and services for Canadian Forces members and their families in Greater Victoria and on Southern Vancouver Island. The EMFRC is a charitable society operating out of four locations, with Outreach Services for families outside the Greater Victoria area.
The Challenge: Meet the EMFRC mandate of providing all citizens with easy electronic access to public information and services. When people need help, it must be quick and easy to find.
The Solution: We gathered the right kind of information and presented it in carefully worded, easy to read website copy. We recognized the users as being members of an extended military family, and spoke to them in a friendly, supportive manner. It's one of the most outstanding sites of its kind in Canada.
