The Client: Tembo
Tembo is national supplier of telephone reconnect services and competes in a fierce market.
The Challenge: To brand and position Tembo in a league above its competitors, and use humour to attract audiences.
The Solution: Artemis humour and style. A terrific logo, plus our kitschy, nation-wide print and TV advertising campaign - "Life feels strange when you're disconnected" - hit the bullseye. We took a huge green elephant and turned him loose in what were normal situations, say a yoga class or a square dance, and he created strange and memorable events. He even bungy jumped off a bridge into a 150-foot gorge.
The campaign reached a wide, diversified demographic, and among all the fun we showed Tembo's key selling points - lower costs and easy customizations. Benefits in headlines help connect us to an audience, and in this case, help those people reconnect. It's a jumbo success story.
