The Client: JobsNow is an Ontario jobs placement initiative managed by WCG International HR Solutions Ltd. Internationally recognized for innovation and results, WCG is a leading human resource and workplace consulting company, providing job placement and human resources solutions to governments, large organizations and businesses.

The Challenge:

  • To raise awareness and promote JobsNow - a pilot project in the Ontario market and to garner positive media coverage about WCG and the benefits of the new program.
  • To highlight WCG’s proven track record as the leading North American employment solutions company
  • To highlight the support for JobsNow from the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services, Ontario Chamber of Commerce and local chambers in Ontario.

The Solution: Through well-researched and well-written media releases, scheduled media interviews and well planned launch events with stakeholders, the JobsNow story appeared in print, on television and on radio accross Ontario, British Columbia and in national media. Artemis garnered the equivalent of $295,000 in media coverage in national, provincial and local publications for JobsNow.

The Client: Triumph Vocational Services provides pre-employment and employment services for people with disabilities in British Columbia. Triumph has placed hundreds of clients in jobs across the province.

The Challenge:

  • To raise awareness of Triumph Vocational Services and showcase the benefits of the program to potential clients and employers through well-written personal success stories.
  • To position Triumph Director as a leading expert in the field.

The Solution: Working with key personnel at Triumph, Artemis secured a full hour on CBC's Almanac, broadcast across British Columbia. The program featured the Director of Triumph Vocational Services. In addition, Artemis secured media coverage in the Times Colonist, Abbotsford Times, Comox Valley Record, and the Vancouver Board of Trade's Sounding Board publication.


The Client: SureSlim Canada is a wellness program that achieves weight loss and improved health by helping clients balance their metabolism and hormone levels. SureSlim Canada is based in Victoria, BC, and operates franchised wellness clinics across Canada.

The Challenge:

  • To raise awareness of and positon SureSlim (a new weight loss and wellness concept from South Africa) as a superior wellness program based on scientific, medical research that corrects metabolism and balances hormone levels.

The Solution: Artemis worked in partnership with Gerald Raath, SureSlim master franchiser to garner media coverage of the SureSlim story in feature articles in the Times Colonist, the Everett Herald (Washington), Canadian Business Franchise Magazine, Canadian Immigrant, Goldstream Gazette, Business Vancouver Island, Business Examiner, News Group Weekend Edition, CKNW's "Money Talks" program, CH evening news and the A Channel News (formerly the New VI).

The Challenge:

  • To raise awareness and excitement about Life Pilot seminars throughout the Vancouver market.

The Solution: Working with Peter Thomas, we achieved media coverage in the Vancouver Sun and Business in Vancouver magazine, plus a feature article about Peter and his innovative program in the Globe and Mail, a seven-minute segment on CBC-TV evening news and a half-hour interview and call-in session on the Bill Goode show on CKNW radio.


The Client: Ann Mortifee and the Gettin' Higher Choir

The Challenge:

  • To raise awareness and interest about the re-entry of Ann Mortifee into the Canadian music scene via a concert with the Gettin' Higher Choir.
  • To sell out the two benefit concerts with the Gettin' Higher Choir to maximize funds for Kapasseni village in Mozambique.

The Solution: Working with Anne and the Choir, Artemis secured feature stories in Monday Magazine, News Group regional papers, Times Colonist, Vancouver Sun and a feature interview on CBC's North by Northwest morning program. This coverage resulted in two sold out performances!
